In 2022, Azusa Pacific University's Honors College requested a new General Information Booklet. This GIB needed to both reflect the new values and brand of the Honors College while remaining consistent with the overall university identity.
The Honors College had undergone substantial changes and growth in its curriculum, student body, and faculty since its inception in 2014. To reflect that shift, the new GIB needed to show off the diversity of its students and their backgrounds while suggesting the antique, elegant aesthetic of the literature they read.
We began the process with photoshoots with both film and digital photography—modern meeting classical.

The new GIB now showed students in casual-wear, rather than the formal attire in previous Honors marketing material. We use bright colors, sharp angles, and an unusual flap die cut for a product prospective students would want to keep—complete with blank grid pages in the back for their own use.
